100 Centuries of Figuration 2G

This is part of the Memories Project. The top section of the fresco "Allegory of Divine Providence and Barberini Power" by Pietro da Cortona on the ceiling of the grand salon at Palazzo Barberini in Rome was digitally processed to transform it into an abstract piece with a fauvist influence. The resulting artwork does not depict any discernible objects, allowing the viewer to interpret the patterns in their own way. The image displays a vibrant array of colors, predominantly shades of red, blue, and pink, creating a lively and dynamic visual effect. The composition is filled with irregular colorful spots and brushwork, suggesting movement and energy. In the center, a dark blue patch is notable, adding contrast to the surrounding vivid colors. The overall impression is one of brightness and vividness, with the chaotic yet brilliant strokes conveying a sense of passion and vitality.
